Improving operational insights for energy managers
NWG are seeking expressions of interest in a tender for production of an ‘Energy Management Software Tool’ which will provide benefits to local authority and broader non-household multi-utility and energy managers.
The project is a direct result of an innovation programme designed to support local government delivered by NWG and +ADD Strategy, and sponsored by Sunderland City Council. The need and concepts for software were explored in a hackathon sponsored by Sunderland Software City late in 2016.
Integrating with existing investments the software is required to optimise time management and decision making across water, gas and electric data working with existing investment to provide intelligence and insight, and support communications to stakeholder groups.
The system will enable ready reporting against performance criteria and utility and energy reduction goals amongst other benefits.
The value of the tender for phase 1 is £35,000. This excludes hosting and further phases are anticipated.
