A Senior Lecturer at University of Sussex is working on thermo and fluid dynamic analyses of turbomachinery and water systems. Some examples of my recent projects are analysis of the efficiency of a freshwater pumping station and modeling the aeration process in a sewage treatment plant.

Currently, they are working on a research proposal with Dr. Spyros Skarvelis-Kazakos, our expert in electricity grid reliability and Prof. Maziar Nekovee, a world-renowned professor in telecoms.

They aim to develop an innovative model of organisational structures and assets, to study the impact of staff absence.

The funding proposal went successfully through the first stage of the Supergen Energy Networks Hub research funding call on Resilience, with very good reviews, and we are invited to submit our full proposal.

The team are seeking engagement with a Water Utility for a formal letter of support, and access to some data through a survey that the team are preparing (available on request).
