Future SMART 2:

Exploring different smart water meter deployment and service strategies

What are the ‘real’ options for smart meter deployment

in water

We hear a lot of different propositions and suggested ‘best’ approaches to modelling services and managing delivery of smart meters in the UK.

There are diverse options from near to traditional operations to new service models that are disruptive and potentially could change the shape of water companies!

Future Smart 2 is a FREE to attend one day event (ideaLAB) asking the question….What are the real options for smart meter deployment; and realistically what models are likely to be adopted in the next few years. The event takes place on Tuesday May 14th in collaboration with Diehl Metering and hosted by the Future Cities Catapult in London.

The event is our second in the field of smart water metering and follows a successful design sprint sponsored by South East Water exploring data call frequency and GDPR implications.

The event is an ideaLAB™ ; A proven one day event designed to bring together diverse communities to explore, discover and co-design forward thinking and innovative concepts.

Our goal is to help water companies and their supply chain better prepare for the coming challenge of developing strategy, policy and decisions regards how and what they will look for….

Engage

idealab.png

As with all +ADD ideaLAB’s, the event will attract a diverse audience of water companies and supply chain.

Network, meet and arrange meetings with both established market operators and new entrants and enterprise.

Learn

FutureSMART2 brings speakers with practiced experience of defining delivery models, planning and implementing rollouts to the market. The event will also offer consideration of impact on current services and operations such as meter installation, inspection, reading, billing, customer services, customer engagement and water efficiency operations.

Debate

We understand that there is presently no clear ideal or model for realisation. The solution for each water company will inevitably be unique. In this context FutureSMART2 offers a great opportunity to explore alternative thinking and different perspectives.
